What to ask before a week on a catamaran

Space, skipper rules, and the difference between a sample rate and a quote.

Yacht on the water

A catamaran is often chosen for space: more cabins that feel level, and a deck that works as a room. The useful questions are practical. How many bathrooms are actually on the record? Is the skipper optional, required, or not offered?

On Sailaboard a weekly figure labelled as a sample rate is not a price for your dates. Fuel, food, and a skipper fee sit outside that figure when the sample card says so. The booking service that would turn this into a quote is not connected.

Ask where the week starts and ends. A catamaran in Naoussa and a catamaran in Hvar are different coasts that happen to share a hull type.
